January the First 2014

It’s a new year and a challenge has been set.
 2014.  12 months.  52 weeks.  365 days.

To blog every day for a year.

This is my challenge, let’s begin.

So the most obvious thing to post on the first of January is my New Year’s Resolutions list.  Wouldn’t you agree? But before I get onto that I’d like to make some things clear.  Although I intend to blog about practically everything this coming year there will be many things that I don’t blog about because they’re private.  I’m not making this blog for anyone else but myself but I’m thrilled to be able to share my year with you all and I hope that you can respect the fact that blogging everyday whilst still in school (especially when that year of school is my last) is very difficult and there may be some days where I only post a sentence or even a pre-written post just as a fill-in.  But I will try my best.

Now onto the resolutions!

Now, my intention is to write an extra entry for each resolution I complete and if it’s one such a ‘Join the Gym’ then I’ll write monthly updates.  I don’t intend to complete all of these because I’m realistic and I know I’m extremely lazy but I’m going to try my best.
Here goes:

Becca’s New Year’s Resolutions!

Be healthy and get toned.
Get a new wardrobe and find MY own fashion sense.
Learn how to apply make-up and do so.
Make new friends.
Blog every day, and post a Vlog update once a week once this blog gets underway..?
Get a job that pays well and save, save, save.
Buy a boyfriend.  Oh you can’t buy those?  How does someone acquire one?
Be more open to opportunities that arise in the community.
Take some chances.
Eat healthier!  More sushi and smoothies, yum!
Write the draft to one novel.  I mean, I want to be a novelist and that means I have to finish a book one day, right?
Form a stronger friendship bond with my best friends.  And strengthen my ties with other friends that I’ve drifted away from.
Get rid of my pimples.
Get my passport, and plan my European/US of A Gap Year.
Spend less time being a hermit.
Don’t procrastinate.  As much.
Get my driver’s license.
Work on my flirting.  I have a lot of stories for you all....
Eat a lot of fudge.
Have fun, but not too much fun.  ;)
Read 100 books –short stories included.
Try not to get myself killed.  It would be such a shame to deprive you all of my humour.

Make more New Year’s resolutions to not fulfil.... Because honestly the likelihood of me completing more than two of these is low...  –Thank you Leprechaun for this lovely addition.

So there you have it.  My 2014 New Year’s Resolutions.

Live long and prosper, godspeed.

Becca.
